Our Centre

Our centre is a place where little personalities shine, from the nursery to preschool. With sun-safe outdoor spaces, age-specific rooms and a warm community atmosphere, it’s a home away from home for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Enrolment

Starting childcare is a big step. We make it as smooth as possible by walking you through the enrolment process, helping you understand the Child Care Subsidy, and ensuring your child feels comfortable from day one.

Every child learns differently, which is why our qualified educators design play-based programs tailored to each child’s age, stage and interests. From gardening clubs to community excursions, we help curious minds thrive.

The Directory staff and supporting Educators are so helpful and each take the time to get to know your little ones and find ways to better support their individual development needs. We have found the Educators respectful of the routines in which we implement at home and do their best to carry that on in the centre to better the transition from home to care. We have also found the communication is great- we receive regular updates of our little one and what they’ve been up to throughout the day. I enjoyed the photos they took throughout the day and uploaded to their photo platform, allowing parents to see what went on during their child/children’s busy day. 1. What is included in the fees?

Our fees cover up to 12 hours of care per day, along with all meals and snacks (excluding breakfast). We also provide nappies and hygiene products, minimising any additional costs. Our core goal is to make your life easier, knowing your child is getting everything they need throughout the day.

2. How do I organise a tour of Kookaburra Early Learning?

We’d love to show you around! Simply give us a call at (02) 6662 5422 or complete our online form to arrange a visit. We’ll happily arrange a personalised tour so you can see our facilities, meet the team, and get a feel for what we’re all about.

3. Do you close on holidays or public holidays?

We only close for gazetted public holidays, so you can rest assured that we’ll be open and ready to care for your little one for the majority of the year. We do our best to ensure our services are as reliable and consistent as possible for busy families.

4. Do you offer any transition support for new families?

We know the first day can sometimes be overwhelming for little ones (and parents!) so we offer orientation visits to help you feel comfortable and confident. We’ve also compiled a list of community resources, from local playgroups to family services, to help ease the transition.

5. What if my child has food allergies?

We take allergies very seriously and our team is skilled in catering to specific dietary needs. We just ask that you provide written information from your child’s doctor to ensure everything is tailored to their individual needs. Your child’s health and safety are our top priorities, and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate their allergies while providing delicious meals!
