Health & Safety Program
- Routine is a good way of teaching your child healthy habits, such as hand washing, picking up and putting away personal belongings, disposing of waste correctly etc. which promotes a feeling of safety.
- Our educators, through their programming, encourage healthy eating by encouraging your child to make healthy choices, introducing new food and allowing your child to participate in cooking lessons. This is backed up by our balanced and Nutritious Menu approved by a Munch and Move nutritionist, which introduces your child to a variety of fresh local fruit and vegetables.
- Our programs also teach children to remain ‘safe’ by teaching them about child protection and that it is “OK” to talk to someone they trust, whenever they are worried about anything that is happening in their life. We assist children in identify who the people are that they are able to trust e.g. their educator, a family member or friend.
